Peanut & Methi Sundal

A South Indian style sundal with roasted peanuts and fresh fenugreek leaves — protein-rich and flavorful.

Sundal is quick to make, portable, and a great protein snack or side.

This traditional preparation brings authentic South Indian flavors to your table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups roasted peanuts (or boiled peanuts)
  • 1 cup fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1 dried red chili, curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil, salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1.Heat oil, temper mustard seeds, urad dal, red chili and curry leaves.
  2. 2.Add methi leaves and sauté briefly, then add peanuts and toss with salt.
  3. 3.Cook 2–3 minutes and serve warm.

FAQ

Can I use roasted peanuts directly?

Yes — great for crunch; boiled peanuts make it softer.
