Tofu Palak

A vegan take on palak paneer using tofu for high protein and a silky spinach gravy.
Tofu soaks the palak flavors and increases the protein content while keeping the dish light.
This plant-based curry is hearty yet refreshing.
Ingredients
- •300g firm tofu, cubed and lightly pan-fried
- •4 cups spinach leaves, blanched and pureed
- •1 onion, 1 tomato, ginger-garlic paste
- •1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp garam masala, oil, salt
Instructions
- 1.Sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste, add tomato and spices until cooked.
- 2.Add spinach puree, simmer, then fold in tofu. Cook 4–5 minutes and finish with garam masala.
- 3.Serve with rotis or steamed rice.
FAQ
Will tofu become rubbery?
Use firm tofu and pan-sear briefly to keep texture pleasant.
